"may the lord bless her, and all who sail in her"

"Every night in my dreams......
I see you..... I feel you
that is how i know you ....... go on"
(Queen Celine)

It is every boys dream whilst knocking around the Southbank in Londontown,
to be one of the gallant sailor knaves, striding across the waves in the magnificent vessels gliding across the dirty water of the Thames.
And on this winter day, that is just what we did, so you can save yourself the £ !

Look at Georgie's excitement at the thought of boarding this seafarer
No expenses spared !
We travel in style !

First stop, Big Ben.
It does look better in the summer, although the weather always looks like this in London

The two sailor scouts prepared themselves for some sightseeing.
James has an essence of "her majesty aboard the QE2"
Georgie has an essence of the sea hag "Ol Greggg"

After ages of listening to our "tour guide" rattle on explaining what was what
(to what looks like Old Liz, her royalness )
We were getting bored, like episode one bored.
Plus we had hardly even left the boat port thing, and there was no way off the ship.
And no BAR!

First sighting was this big building, which we found hard to appreciate fully
as we couldn't help but notice the Millenium Wheel adjacent
(which was 'closed to unforseen circumstances' as we passed it on the way to the ship)

What happened here?!?
no wonder it was closed
no way we are going on that now

As we drew near to the Tower Bridge of London, we wondered 2 things;
1 - would some horrible little shit throw / spit over the side and onto our heads?
2 - Was that an ageing HAGRID we saw in front of us?

Suddenly a large ominous ship drew alongside our mere vessel - bloody Pirates!

Luckily these two "Arthur Scargills" (seagulls) above saw them off, the (sea) devils!
We anticipated HAGRID had performed some sort of secret spell unbeknown to the regular passengers, but nothing can fool our eyes from the future!
As we drew close alongside Hogwarts, we realised that in fact,
the 'coincidences' of HAGRIDS appearance on deck
and the magic seagulls he had conjured
were not 'coincidences', but in fact it was probably how he got home
from his office job in the city

After all this travelling (about 2.5 hours later)
and freezing our fabulous little bodies off
it was time to step down as Captains of the Seas
and back on to dry land.

Even these long haul flighters were knackered...... we hope they didn't miss all the adventure!
