imagine the scenario - its a hot and humid August day, and after an exhausting trip around the (now defunct) Oriental City shopping centre in North London, you pause for a refreshing 'pick me up'. Not that you'd want to pick THIS beauty of a bevvy (above)
Introducing the "ICED KACHANG" !
Layer of beans, topped with jelly, glass noodles, more jelly, juice, crushed ice topped with evaporated milk. With a straw though, you know, to get straight to the noodles.
Problem was, it was hot, we were exhausted from shopping, we were delirious,we bought two.
The picture advertising was somewhat 'different'!
